Children’s Program
During Traditional Song, Old-Time Music & Dance, & Celtic Weeks we offer a full-day program for children ages 6-12, taught by Children’s Program Coordinator Melissa Hyman. This is not a program of music instruction (although music is certainly incorporated!), but a program of crafts and creativity, games, friendship, silliness, and discovery.
In addition to children of Swannanoa Gathering students and instructors, we also welcome children from the local community, as space allows.

Note: Bathroom independence is a non-negotiable prerequisite

Meals can be purchased at the Cafeteria
Note: There is a small additional fee for lunchtime supervision, for parents not on campus to pick their child up for lunch.
Monday – Friday
Program activities are scheduled during Gathering class periods, and parents are responsible for their children at all other times.
Drop Off : 8:45
Pick-up for lunch: Noon
End of Day Pick-up: 5:00 – 5:45 (timing varies slightly depending on the week your child attends)
