I was very happy with the "welcoming vibe" of the event. As I have been telling people, I started out feeling like the awkward "new kid in school" and ended feeling like I had made new friends I hope to see again.
I am a lifelong learner, and the Gathering offers an excellent opportunity to learn new skills in a supportive environment.

I really enjoyed the camaraderie I developed with all the people I met. Traditional Irish music is not a common interest, so being immersed in the music with likeminded people for a week was a splendid experience.

The campus is beautiful, the food is healthy and excellent, the fellow campers are a community, the teaching staff is world class.

It was a wonderful week. I learned lots of new things, which I've already added to my musical toolbox. The evening concerts were thrilling, and the other attendees were warm and welcoming.
The instructors are top-notch, generally. The students are a fine collection of people. It’s possible to choose to be as busy or as laid-back as you want.
