For thirty years, Guitar Week has brought together a world-class teaching staff and dedicated students for a one-of-a-kind workshop that celebrates the amazing versatility of the acoustic guitar. Participants are immersed in what one student has called “guitar utopia,” helping each other grow as musicians in a supportive atmosphere of acoustic guitar lovers, many of whom will become lifelong friends.

Community seminars each afternoon offer different panels where instructors play a little, discuss what goes into their music-making, and answer questions. With classes that provide exceptional instruction and cover a remarkable array of styles, topics, and techniques, there is truly something for everyone. Guitar Week also runs concurrently with the Contemporary Folk Week workshops and students may take classes from either program.
