Celtic Week is the largest stand-alone program at the Swannanoa Gathering, bringing together musicians, dancers, and singers to celebrate the rich musical traditions of Scotland and Ireland. It offers a wide variety of workshops, lectures, and panel discussions while retaining the intimate, welcoming atmosphere that the Gathering is known for. Evening concerts and spontaneous sessions add to the vibrant atmosphere, creating space for musical exploration and culminating with the legendary Thursday night ceilidh.

Celtic Week fosters a strong sense of kinship, welcoming participants of all skill levels to develop alongside each other as musicians, performers, and collaborators. It’s the best of both worlds: the excitement of a large-scale program combined with the warmth of a close-knit community.
