The instructors for this innovative program comprise top national and international mandolin and banjo artists representing a variety of styles. Runs concurrently with Fiddle Week to foster an unlimited amount of collaborations and jamming.

Traditional Song Week July 5-11
These workshops celebrate the power of diversity of community singing, taught by renowned practitioners and culture bearers from right here in southern Appalachia and as far away as Scotland and Ireland. An extraordinary time of human connection through song.

Old-Time Week July 12-18
One flagship week of the Swannanoa Gathering, this program assembles some of the greatest old-time music and dance musicians year in and year out for one of the most unforgettable experiences you will find anywhere.
